It’s here: Restaurant Week. For the next six days, all of your favorite restaurants are offering preset menus and lower prices. With so many amazing places to go in New Orleans, it’s hard to know what the best places to hit this week are. As many of the restaurants that offer Restaurant Week menus in New Orleans are more upscale, this calls for the perfect opportunity to try some of the restaurants you might not normally visit. After doing extensive research, here are my picks for the best restaurants to drag your friends to this week.

Avo

$37 for a three course meal

Avo is an amazing way to start the week off with a bang as it is one of New Orleans’ finest restaurants. With usually a single entree costing around $37, this is a great way to try out some of the best cuisine in NOLA for a steal of a price.

Commander’s Palace

$18- $20 for a three course lunch, $38- $40 for a three course dinner

Commander’s Palace is notoriously one of the most expensive restaurants in New Orleans, so being able to have a lunch $20 or under this week or dinner for $40 and under is one of the best opportunities to be taken advantage of this week.

Josephine Estelle

$39 for a three course dinner

Home to the best cacio e pepe in New Orleans, try this amazing dish out as well as an appetizer and a dessert for only $39, which is a bargain for this upscale restaurant.

Shaya

$34 for a three course dinner

Since Shaya is one of Tulane students’ favorite restaurants, it would be a total mistake to not make it over to try out everyone’s favorite hummus at one of the quaintest restaurants in the city.

La Petite Grocery

$39 for a three course dinner

La Petite Grocery is by far one of the best, most upscale restaurants in New Orleans, and that’s saying a lot considering this is the food capital of the country. Top off some poached gulf shrimp and pan roasted gulf fish with their well-known homemade ice cream, at a fraction of the normal price.

Johnny Sánchez

$35 for a three course dinner

Don’t forget to get your Mexican fix in this week with Johnny Sánchez’s amazing Restaurant Week menu. Their Pescado Al Pastor is phenomenal and, paired with an appetizer and dessert, is sure to make this Restaurant Week one you won’t forget.

Emeril’s Restaurant

$39 for a three course dinner

Finish off your week of some of the best food in New Orleans with a popular favorite: Emeril’s Restaurant. Find yourself polishing off your three course meal with Emeril’s Banana Cream Pie and head home for the nap of a lifetime. You deserve it after all of that food.

If you’re in the mood for something a little less fancy, your favorites are still serving up deals on sushi, Mexican, and pizza! No matter what your craving, don’t miss out on the amazing deals this week in the 504.
