During the summer between tanning, sweating, and spending lots of time at the beach, my skin suffers. But luckily, I have found the perfect face masks to rejuvenate and brighten your skin after those long beach days. These masks use ingredients that are seasonally fresh and easy to find at any grocery store or insta-worthy farmer’s market.

Strawberry and Cherry Anti-Aging Face Mask

Ingredients:

Cherries (vitamin C, anti-oxidants, iron, magnesium, potassium)

Strawberries (vitamin C, salicylic acid)

Crush 4-5 very ripe strawberries and (how many) cherries. Next, mix with 1.5 tablespoons of honey and apply to your face for 30 minutes.

This mask is perfect for lightening your skin and provides anti-aging properties for dull skin.

Mango and Yogurt/ Kiwi and Yogurt

Ingredients:

Mango (vitamin C)

Yogurt (lactic acid)

Take a mango, cut and peel it, and put in a blender to make a mango pulp. Once the pulp is ready, take a tablespoon of yogurt and apply to the skin for 15-30 minutes and you will be left with a natural glow.

Or, instead of using mango you can puree kiwi and mix with the yogurt instead.

By using this mask, you are rejuvenating the cells on your skin and removing all the hyper-pigmentation and dullness on your face. Kiwi is also great for combatting dull skin after a long day at the beach where you may have gotten a harmful tan.

Tomato Mask

Ingredients:

Tomatoes

Squeeze a ripe tomato onto your skin or mix the fresh tomato juice with a plain face mask from the store. Leave the mask on for 15-30 minutes and you will see less acne and scarring on your face within the next week.

Cooled tomato seeds are a natural exfoliant when you wash your skin, so leave that harsh CVS exfoliator on the shelf and use tomatoes instead.

All three of these masks are super easy to create with friends, especially if you notice that your days in the sun are beginning to take a toll on your skin!
