Embrace Winter Fashion With Cozy Sweaters from These Online Retailers

While there’s no chance of snow in New Orleans, winter is here! The temperature is finally starting to drop, but on most days a winter jacket is still unnecessary. Instead, a sweater will keep you feeling plenty warm enough, and simultaneously let you embrace cold weather fashion. Here are a few online retailers with a large selection of cozy and trendy sweater styles:

This winter, Madewell has one of my favorite sweater collections. In addition to having lots of sweaters in variations of the brand’s beloved stripe print, their pieces also feature trendy prints like camouflage and black and white checkerboard. If you’re on the hunt for a simpler sweater, Madewell also has a selection of cashmere knitwear basics that can easily be layered with a statement jacket for extra warmth.

Mango has an overwhelmingly large collection of sweaters, ranging in style and material. Add a pop of color to your winter wardrobe with one of their mustard yellow, cherry red, or pastel blue chunky turtleneck sweaters, dress festively for the holidays in a metallic finished sweater, or pair one of their more basic styles with a pair of printed statement pants. Plus, their items are perfect for students looking to upgrade their wardrobe for less—many of them are under 50 dollars!

Free People

While Free People’s effortlessly chic summery items may be more popular than their winter apparel, their sweater collection should not be overlooked. In addition to a selection of cozy, cold weather styles, many of their sweaters—including fringe cardigans, open back styles, and open weave or distressed knits— are perfect for more moderate New Orleans winter days.

Topshop

No matter what kind of sweater you’re looking for—from basic turtlenecks to more trendy knits— Topshop has you covered. Their endless selection of sweaters in fresh silhouettes and fun prints are perfect for throwing on with a pair of jeans and sneakers when you’re running late to class. They also have a collection of whimsical Christmas sweaters to help you get in the holiday spirit. Plus, while finding reasonably priced high-quality sweaters can be difficult, almost all of Topshop’s are priced between 50 and 100 dollars.

Stay warm and consider treating yourself to a new sweater this winter! Happy shopping!
