Sneakers are in this fall! The perfect shoe to dress down an outfit, match your trendy street-style, and wear walking around the city without compromising fashion or comfort. I personally wear sneakers six out of seven days of the week, and think they are a must have item for this fall. Here are my top picks for the hottest sneakers to snag this season.

1. Nike Air Force 1

These shoes are by far the most popular sneaker this season. If you take a walk around campus, I can guarantee that you will spot them on someone’s feet. They are super comfortable (because they are Nike) and match almost any outfit (because they are all white). I love pairing mine with jeans, especially my frayed bottom ones, or with jean shorts. I’ve also worn them with athletic clothes, such as cropped leggings, because they make the outfit just a bit less sporty and more put together than normal running shoes.

2. Superga Platforms

I love most Supergas, but the platform is my absolute favorite. It adds a pop of edge and something special that completes most outfits. The extra height you gain is also a bonus. These pair perfectly with rompers, skirts, and dresses. I love wearing mine with a romper to the Fly or with a cheer skirt to gameday.

3. Fila Disruptor II

Dad shoes are back and better than ever! These Fila sneakers are definitely a statement shoe for the fashion risk-taker. I’d pair them with a pair of funky pants. They look great with plaid pants (total 90’s look), joggers, cargo pants, or ripped jeans. LF was super into pairing their outfits with dad shoes this season, so check out their Insta for some inspiration.

4. Sock Sneakers4.png

Another shoe featured a ton by LF this fall, these shoes are super futuristic and fit into the athleisure trend perfectly. Not only are they super cute, they are also SO comfortable, fitting just like a sock! The pair above is from Jeffrey Campbell, but Steve Madden and many other brands carry similar models. I’d say stick with dark clothes when you’re wearing them and pair them with a pair of leggings (especially for the airport), cargo pants, or an oversized T-shirt dress.

Happy sneaker wearing!
