The Crescent’s boutique spotlight is back and this week’s store is one not to miss! Hemline Boutique, located on Magazine Street, has an amazing variety of clothing, from chic joggers and basic tees to fancy cocktail dresses and everything in between. They also have fun accessories such as boho style necklaces and earrings and small crossbody bags that would be perfect for going out!

Hemline features an assortment of trendy brands, including For Love and Lemons, Michael Stars, Capulet, Misa, Blank NYC, and AG Gold. Entering the store as a Tulane student, I saw so many pieces that I would wear all the time. Their jean skirts would be perfect for going out or shopping on a warm day (I loved the AG Gold crossed one!). Their jeans were also adorable. As I mentioned before, they carry the brand Blank NYC, which has great price points and unique styles. They carried a pair that had a rainbow stripe going down the side, which spiced up the pant! They also have a lot of athleisure and basic tees. I was obsessed with their Michael Star joggers and Mate graphic tees (the peachy, peachy one!). They’d be perfect for class.

On the more formal side, Hemline carries many sparkly skirts, a shiny off the shoulder dress, a lace For Love and Lemons dress, and an adorable ruched plaid dress. All of these would be great for the upcoming holiday season or a date party!

The store environment is so friendly. When you walk into Hemline, the employees are outgoing, nice, and help style an outfit for you. I talked to the manager, Chelsea, who told me about Hemline’s History. Hemline started in New Orleans in the French Quarter and now has over 28 locations all over the South. When asked about Hemline’s target customer, Chelsea responded that they have clothes and accessories for all ages and styles. Her favorite brands are Misa and Show Me Your Mumu.

This month, Hemline is offering 10% off to anyone that tells the employees that they are a fan of The Crescent. I hope you all check this amazing store out—it is for sure worth the shopping trip to Magazine!
