In this month’s edition of Snooze or Cruise, I highlight a few upcoming performances. This month’s lineup was stacked, so I recommend you cruise all four of these concerts.

Deorro – Joy Theatre (11/12)

Most people know Deorro for his 2014 dance hit, “Five Hours”, but he also has production credits on chart-topping tracks with Pitbull, DyCy, and Elvis Crespo. He was born and raised in Los Angeles which is apparent in his bass-heavy and beat-driven production. Deorro was originally slated to play at the Republic, but due to a high demand for tickets, he will now be performing at the Joy Theatre on November 12th.

Pierce Fulton – House of Blues (11/17)

Pierce Fulton exploded into the dance music scene with his 2014 progressive house hit, “Runaway”. His live show features an eclectic blend of house, future bass, and electro to create the perfect “feel good” set. Fulton will be playing at House of Blues on November 17th.

DMX – House of Blues (11/18)

Although his 2017 career has been primarily court appearances rather than live performances, DMX’s House of Blues show on November 18th is not one to miss. His discography that makes up a third of The Boot’s nightly playlist will be nothing but exhilarating in a live setting.

$uicideboy$ – House of Blues (11/24)

$uicideboy$ pull up to their shows with an energy that can’t be topped. Members Ruby da Cherry and $lick $loth’s hard-hitting beats, and diverse rap flows show a talent derived from their roots in the punk rock and metal scene.

The duo is performing at House of Blues on November 24th, and this is definitely on the list of shows to cruise. Not to mention $uicideboy$ were born and raised in the west and east banks of New Orleans so local, loyal fans will most definitely fill the crowd.
