Have you ever been home alone and wondering where all of your friends were? Or how about those Wednesday nights when you aren’t exactly sure how many people are going out and hitting up the Boot? We have all been there. Well, thank goodness you go to Tulane, because Twenty, the new app on campus, can fix all of your social worries.
Twenty makes meeting up with friends and knowing what events/parties are going on in the area simple. It’s especially perfect for Greek life events, helping college students stay connected. Whether it’s seeing what is going on in the frat scene or in downtown New Orleans, Twenty will allow you to see what your friends are up to in real time. Not only does the app show you where your friends are, it also shows you exciting events in the area that you wouldn’t have known of otherwise, like concerts and happy hours.
A group of current students worked with Tulane alum Alison Brod at her PR and Marketing firm this summer when they were introduced to the genius app. They knew that Tulane would be the perfect campus to test it out, with our combination of the incredible city of New Orleans and the extremely social student body. They were right, because it seems as though the word is getting out very quickly. Every day I receive more and more notifications that my friends are joining the app and using it to check in places.
We live in a world of new technology. Twenty is our future. There will be no more boring Friday nights. There will be no more excuses for not going downtown because “nothing is going on.” Stay connected to your friends; join the rest of the Tulane community and download the app Twenty. I promise you will not regret it!
