Fall is one of my favorite seasons – the changing weather and new lineup of drinks at Starbucks, it’s all so nostalgic. One thing, however, always stresses me out when this time of year comes around: Halloween. I often wish things were as simple as they were when we were little and could just pick our costumes out of a catalog or dress up as our favorite princess. Now, it seems like the pressure is on to have not only one costume but multiple costumes for Halloweekend. Keep reading for some Halloween costume ideas you can put together with some things you probably already have in your closet.
Ballerina
This is such a dainty and cute costume idea! You can wear any baby pink top you have or choose from the many options on Amazon that pair perfectly with a pink skirt, especially this wrap around ballet skirt.
Girl Scout
You can easily piece this costume together with clothes you probably have in your closet while just needing to buy a sash. You can wear any mini skirt or get an inexpensive brown colored one, pair it with any white top, put your hair in two braids, wear the sash, and you’re good to go! Or, if you just want to buy the complete costume, they sell a few variations at places like Dollskill and Amazon.
A Disney Princess
This costume is fun and nostalgic and reminds me so much of childhood. It’s also pretty easy and super versatile. You can wear the colors of whichever princess you choose and pair it with an inexpensive tiara and gloves or any other accessories the character has with her. I love this set on Amazon, or a cute mini dress.
