Valentine’s day has become a favorite holiday for many, me included. What’s not to love about the holiday celebrating love? Aside from receiving lots of flowers and lots of candy, it’s also the perfect excuse to break out the pink and red in your wardrobe, get new fun nails, and throw a galantines celebrations with friends.
Of course, things like wearing pink and heart patterns are not limited to the month of February, but it is a fun time to lean into the festivities and add some fun to your everyday outfits.
Heart patterned clothing has seen a resurgence in popularity over this past year; I’ve seen hearts on t-shirts, pajamas, and jackets in many hauls featured on TikTok, and each time I look at the comments they are flooded with people asking where these heart-patterned pieces are from. Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday to lean into this trend and make the day more than just celebrating a relationship. Here are a few ways to get yourself into the spirit with some pieces for your wardrobe.
Fun and Festive Pajamas
Pajama sets have quickly become everyone’s favorite luxury–there is nothing like putting on your favorite set and jumping into bed! Even though you might not make it out of the house dressed in pjs, festive pajama sets make nights in so much more fun!
Here are a few of my picks:

All the pink + red hearts
Pink and red are already popular colors to begin with, and so are heart patterns. But Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to go all out and lean into these fun colors, and there are so many ways to do so!
- A fun jacket

A jacket like this one is something so fun to spice up any outfit. And you are sure to get a lot of attention and compliments while wearing it!
2. A festive mini dress

A dainty mini dress is perfect for Valentines (or Galantines!) date nights. You can spice it up with a red sweater or a cool pair of red boots.

For those who like to be bold, this bright pink dress is perfect and definitely shows the Valentine’s Day spirit. Wearing pink sequins is always a good idea and is a fun material that would make for a good birthday or anniversary dress, too!
Accessories
Any outfit can be accessorized to fit an occasion, so this is a perfect way to show your love for this holiday if pink and red aren’t your color! The options are endless and are so much fun to put together.

Here are some accessories I love that could be added to make any outfit a bit more festive:

Overall, there are so many ways to get in the spirit for Valentine’s Day, and your outfit is just one fun way to do so! Let this be an excuse to dress up in all the pink and red in your closet to show how much you love celebrating the season of love.
