He often wears all black, taking inspiration from his role model, Marilyn Manson, an extremely well-known rock star. Lil Uzi Vert’s style is one of the most interesting among rappers in this day and age.
Why do we look up to rap artists for style advice? Well, it’s simple. Notable designers are reaching out more and more to rappers to act as ambassadors for their brands. Nautica, GUESS, Alexander Wang, and Calvin Klein are just a few of the brands that have called upon rappers like Lil Yachty, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, and Young Thug to rock their clothing for their magazines and campaigns. Although they might duck and cover up their faces when a hundred cameras are in their faces, deep down rappers want their outfits to be spoken about and representative of their music.
