Our men’s basketball team, currently ranked 11th in the preseason AAC coaches poll, may be seen as the underdog, but don’t let that fool you—there’s incredible potential bursting from this squad! With a lineup packed with fresh talent and enthusiastic transfers, head coach Ron Hunter is geared up for his sixth season at Tulane, and it’s shaping up to be one for the books! Let’s show our Wave pride and make some noise in the stands!
Coach Hunter and his new staff (including his son, RJ Hunter) are bringing some serious talent to the court. Nine new players, each with unique backgrounds and a hunger to prove themselves, have joined the squad, including power conference transfers like Tyler Ringgold (Texas A&M), Kaleb Banks (Indiana), and Mari Jordan (Georgia). In the backcourt, Rowan Brumbaugh from Georgetown and Michael Eley from Siena bring solid experience and stats that give Green Wave fans real hope for a strong offensive season.
While these players might be new to Tulane, proving the AAC wrong as an underdog isn’t new to us at all.
