As fashion weeks around the world come to an end, my Instagram feed is flooded with content from the action-packed events. Social media has become such a prominent part of documenting every aspect of fashion week; from fittings with designers for their shows, behind the scenes operations or after parties with any and every celebrity you can imagine. Social media has given everyone access to some of the most elite and exclusive happenings in the fashion world.
Influencers have become the connection that fashion lovers like me have been waiting for. Brands have increasingly been connecting with countless Instagram-famous bloggers to promote their brand and expand their audience. Here are some of my favorite influencers that made me feel like I was front row with them this year.
1. Negin Mirsalehi
Negin, founder of Gisou Hair, attended Paris Fashion Week and didn’t fail to keep her five million Instagram followers updated minute by minute. She attended fittings with designers like Balmain and Louis Vuitton, and even had her followers vote on which outfits they preferred her to wear to the shows. Negin captured footage front row at Maison Valentino and truly made me feel like I was transported to Paris.
2. Xenia Adonts
Xenia is one of my favorite international influencers to get inspiration from. Her European style is so refreshing and really brought something different to my following of fashion week. This year she attended numerous shows in Milan, including Roberto Cavalli and Versace. She captured her all of her edgy looks from her fabulous front row outfits to her nighttime gala pieces.
3. Danielle Bernstein
If you were to tell me that you have never heard of Danielle Bernstein of WeWoreWhat, I would have a hard time believing you. Danielle is a veteran of fashion weeks and uses her experiences to show her followers the best of the best. The New York native did an incredible job of documenting everything from the runway to her street style looks in her home city.
