On March 16th, the first ever NOLA Brass Fest will kick off in brass’s home and soul, New Orleans. NOLA Brass Fest was produced by the Save Our Brass Culture Foundation and will feature brass bands, jazz bands, bounce artist, hip-hop artists and more. Local cuisine and drinks will be offered as well as a brass band blowout and arts & crafts for some classic NOLA fun.

The event will take place in Louis Armstrong Park, with a second line parade leading the way to the gates of the festival at 11 am. The festival will run from 11 am-8 pm.

Save Our Brass Culture Foundation will put on the New Orleans Original Brass Fest, the newest way to experience New Orleans music, heritage and culture. Festival founder, Ersel “Garfield” Bogan, III says “Save Our Brass Culture Foundation is extremely excited to present what will be the most exciting, electrifying and energetic festival of all times. Being a musician in the city of New Orleans is awesome. But being a Brass Band musician is the most THRILLING feeling in the World. We are the life of the party. And we are ready to introduce this party to the rest of the world. While saving generations with music one note at a time.”

The stellar lineup includes Hot 8 Brass Band, DJ Poppa, Da Truth Brass Band, TBC Brass Band, Big Sam Funky Nation!, The Stooges, and DJ Jubilee.
