Award-show season is in full swing, and we are already getting more than a few jaw-dropping looks so far. From Tate McRae’s ethereal Greek goddess dress at the MTV Music Awards to Jenna Ortega’s stunning look at the Emmys, we are being treated to creativity, glamour, and unbeatable styles. Our stars are giving us more than we imagined, and the best-dressed list is becoming the most valuable award to win.

Here’s who owned the carpet so far (in no particular order):

Best of the MTV Music Awards

Sabrina Carpenter

Pop-singer Sabrina Carpenter channeled Old Hollywood with a custom high-neck lace long-sleeve skin-tight sheer dress from Valentino. The outfit seems to resonate quite well with her new album “Man’s Best Friend,” and her upcoming feature in Taylor Swift’s upcoming album “The Life of A Showgirl.” While the boa is hit or miss for some, you can’t deny Carpenter’s ability to show up in style.

Tate Mcrae

I don’t know about you, but my jaw dropped when I saw singer and songwriter Tate McRae walk onto the carpet in this outfit. McRae blessed us all with her ethereal Greek goddess look, bringing a breath of fresh air into the awards in her sheer white dress by Ludovic de Saint Sernin. Not to mention, she later stunned the world with her sickening performance of “Sports Car” on the MTV stage.

Lenny Kravitz

Lenny Kravitz isn’t beating the “doesn’t age” allegations with this one. The iconic rockstar wore a striped, asymmetrical suit with a tie half-hazardly thrown around his neck, courtesy of YSL. The shades, the stance, the outfit–Kravitz is absolutely killing it on the carpet.

FKA Twigs

English singer, songwriter, and record producer FKA Twigs did more than understand the assignment. Serving sci-fi realness, Twigs did something here that many don’t. From top to bottom and from front to back, this custom blood-red Matieres Fecales outfit took the cake.

Katseye

If you don’t know the infamous girl group Katseye, we can’t be friends. The band’s members, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, Manon Bannerman, Daniela Avanzini, and Yoonchae Jeong, brought their own flair to the table. Coordinated in their arrays of black and a hint of color, the Dolce Gabbana outfits did not miss. And to be honest? Katseye never misses.

Yungblud

Last, but certainly not least, of the MTV awards, English singer, songwriter, and actor Yungblud did not hold back. In all black leather head to toe and elements of fur, decked in silver jewelry, chains, and belt buckles, he rocked this. YungBlud’s cross necklace hung down his shirtless chest, a tribute to the death of rock legend Ozzy Ozborne.

Best of Emmy Awards

Jenna Ortega

Iconic actress Jenna Ortega, best known for her performance in the Netflix series Wednesday, showed us all what it means to dress for the Emmys. Ortega’s top was made up entirely of jewels and crystals, draped over her body in a badass-meets-royalty style. Paired with a simple black skirt, the top did all of the talking. The Givenchy by Sarah Burton ensemble had everyone gagging, and for good reason.

Lisa

Blackpink member and actor for The White Lotus, Lisa channeled her inner Galinda in her Los Angeles-based brand Lever Couture gown. The beauty in this bubble-gum pink dress is undeniable. One thing that I especially adored about this look is the silhouette that this gown creates; it is flowy but has the perfect amount of body and structure.

Hunter Schafer

Actress and model Hunter Schafer took what it means to be on the “red carpet” seriously. Wearing a Fall/Winter 2025 McQueen dress, the magenta halter-neck dress is a full solid color with a strip of velour fabric just below the waist, creating a beautiful silhouette.

Pedro Pascal

Iconic actor Pedro Pascal did not shy away from the glamour of the carpet. In a double-breasted white Celine suit accompanied by white trousers, he showed up to the Emmys in sophisticated style. His sunglasses and sneakers give this outfit a casual edge. Knowing how to dress to impress, he earned himself a spot on this list.

Sydney Sweeney

Actress and producer Sydney Sweeney is not one to be outdone this awards season. From the hair to the gown, Sweeney brought Hollywood glamour to light this Emmys season. In a full-length, custom Oscar de la Renta gown, the actress was draped in a red, plunge-style dress cinched beautifully at the waist. Her hair and makeup remained simple, while her gown, 120-carat diamond necklace, over 30-carat pear-shaped drop earrings, and 25-carat diamond rings did all the talking.

James Marsden

Actor James Marsden showed up to the Emmys classic, dapper, and just as we suspected, perfect. Rocking a Canali suit, Marsden reminded us why classic is sometimes the way to go. Good job, Prince Charming.

Meghann Fahy

Last, but certainly not least, actress Meghann Fahy showed out in her deep plunge neck and high slit black floor-length gown. Her hair and makeup are done to perfection, and she is wearing the hell out of a Tiffany & Co. Blue Book diamond necklace. If she hadn’t caught your attention before, she is now.
