All the Goods about Glossier: Why our generation is obsessed with this trendy brand

There is something special about getting a package notification from the mail room and seeing the bright pink glossier zip bags when you open it. Known for their “less is more” makeup, Glossier was founded by Emily Weiss in 2010. It started as a mere blog and then grew into a billion-dollar business that has a cult following of young women across the world. So why does our generation love this brand so much? Why every time you see a girl with one of their signature pink tubes or smell their distinct perfume does it automatically invoke a feeling of alliance and love? Many reasons.

The first being that unlike other makeup brands Glossier is built on the idea of adding to your natural beauty, not caking on makeup to cover it up. If you have ever used one of their products (which if not, I recommend you do), you will instantly notice the dewy shine it adds to your skin, not a heavy or overdone look.

Another reason Glossier proves so popular is the bang you get for your buck. Their products, compared to high end brands such as Chanel and Dior, are astronomically cheaper, and are also not pumped full of chemicals; they feel as fresh as they look.
