Sylvie Kirsch was a Senior Editor for The Crescent Magazine. She graduated from Tulane with majors in History and English and minors in Classical Studies and Religious Studies. Sylvie loves vintage leather coats, celebrity podcasts, falling down Wikipedia rabbit holes, and spending time in the beautiful New Orleans sun. Her favorite book is Jane Eyre.  

What is The Crescent?

Founded in 2017, The Crescent is Tulane’s online lifestyle publication written by students, for students! We aim to produce content that is relevant to and representative of our student body. With over 70 staff writers, photographers, editors, graphic designers, social media contributors and marketing and sales consultants, there is an abundance of opportunity for Tulane students to develop important skills, in addition to meeting new people and creating lasting friendships!
