Alya is the Entertainment Editor of The Crescent Magazine. She is currently a junior double-majoring in English and Communications with a minor in Sociology. For her first semester of junior year, she is studying journalism and media in Prague, Czech Republic. In her free time, Alya enjoys spending time with friends, walking in Audubon park and playing tennis!

What is The Crescent?

Founded in 2017, The Crescent is Tulane’s online lifestyle publication written by students, for students! We aim to produce content that is relevant to and representative of our student body. With over 70 staff writers, photographers, editors, graphic designers, social media contributors and marketing and sales consultants, there is an abundance of opportunity for Tulane students to develop important skills, in addition to meeting new people and creating lasting friendships!
