<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you’re anything like me, you’ve found that there’s something instantly comforting about being surrounded by books. One of my favorite ways to spend my Sundays is curled up with a cup of coffee and a good book. When you spend most of your time in the library studying for midterms, it’s easy to forget just how great it can be to be completely encompassed by books that aren’t textbooks, so here are some bookstores around New Orleans that will awaken and feed your inner bookworm.</span></p>
<h2><strong>1. Blue Cypress Books</strong></h2>

Also, the store has an outdoor patio, which makes it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a new read.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This shop resides in an historic property known as the Rink, deep within the beautiful Garden District. Built in 1884, the Rink was originally a roller skating rink, but has since housed a livery stable, a grocery store, a gas station, and even a mortuary. How’s that for character?</span></p>

As you walk through this cozy store, you’ll find stacks upon stacks of books, with more titles than you could dream of sorting through. If you’re looking for books on New Orleans, they have it all, from books on hauntings, to cookbooks, to history. </span></p>
