<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tulane University Dance Marathon (TUDM) invites the Tulane and New Orleans community to participate in its 14th annual dance marathon on Saturday, April 12th at Devlin Fieldhouse from 12 pm-5 pm. TUDM is a philanthropic organization that fundraises and spreads awareness for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Throughout the school year, TUDM hosts fundraising events to benefit the Manning Family Children’s (formerly Children’s Hospital of New Orleans). Over the past 14 years, TUDM has raised over $354,000 to provide life-saving care for patients at Manning Family Children’s. This year, TUDM seeks to collect $30,000 for the hospital, and we invite you to join us in our mission and experience the inspiration of Tulane Dance Marathon. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Dance Marathon (WaveThon) is a vibrant, 5-hour “carnival-style” gathering featuring games, activities, live music, dancing, crafts, and delicious food from Domino&#8217;s and Shake Shack. The event is free entry, but food, activities, and stations all come with the registration fee! Children who received treatment at Manning Family Children’s will attend the event to share their stories on how the hospital has impacted their lives. The Dance Marathon is a day to celebrate the funds raised for the hospital as well. The total amount of money raised throughout the school year will be announced during the event. The Marathon is a rewarding opportunity to directly connect with children from the hospital and support a wonderful cause. TUDM hopes to see everyone on April 12th for this fun, exciting, and inspiring event. You don’t want to miss our most inspiring, exciting, and fun event of the year, celebrating the Children’s Miracle Network and the amazing children it supports! </span></p>
