<p>There sure is a glory of music.</p>
<p>Last week, <em>The Head and the Heart </em>when band members Josiah, Jonathan, Charity, Chris, Kenny, and Tyler took over The Fillmore as part of their Living Mirage Tour.</p>
<p>They opened the show with “Living Mirage,” which seemed the perfect choice to open their tour by the same name. From the moment they started playing, I knew I was in for one hell of a night. Their strong start was followed by new and old songs such as “Missed Connection,” “All We Ever Knew,” and one of my personal favorites, “Honeybee.” The crowd was high energy, all dancing and singing along, enjoying the good music and company. The mix of fast and slow feel-good songs created a palpable energy throughout the venue.</p>

<p>The only female in the band, Charity, blew the crowd away with her angelic voice. Her voice is unique; it almost has a magical component that captivates everyone in the crowd. Every time she had a solo part, chills ran through my body. Now, when I listen to a song of theirs, I have a picture in my head of the exact moment it was being performed and how I felt. To me, that&#8217;s what makes concerts so special — getting to hold onto a certain feeling long after the concert is over.</p>

<p>Leaving the concert, I couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear. I spent the rest of my night, and the days following, with their latest album on repeat. <em>The Head and the Heart </em>was already one of my all-time favorite bands, but after witnessing the magic of their live performance, my love for them has reached a whole new level.</p>
