NOLA Concert Review: The Head and the Heart

<p>There sure is a glory of music&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Last week&comma; <em>The Head and the Heart <&sol;em>when band members Josiah&comma; Jonathan&comma; Charity&comma; Chris&comma; Kenny&comma; and Tyler took over The Fillmore as part of their Living Mirage Tour&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>They opened the show with &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Living Mirage&comma;” which seemed the perfect choice to open their tour by the same name&period; From the moment they started playing&comma; I knew I was in for one hell of a night&period; Their strong start was followed by new and old songs such as &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Missed Connection&comma;” &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;All We Ever Knew&comma;” and one of my personal favorites&comma; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Honeybee&period;” The crowd was high energy&comma; all dancing and singing along&comma; enjoying the good music and company&period; The mix of fast and slow feel-good songs created a palpable energy throughout the venue&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;6747" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-6747" style&equals;"width&colon; Charity&comma; blew the crowd away with her angelic voice&period; Her voice is unique&semi; it almost has a magical component that captivates everyone in the crowd&period; Every time she had a solo part&comma; chills ran through my body&period; Now&comma; when I listen to a song of theirs&comma; I have a picture in my head of the exact moment it was being performed and how I felt&period; To me&comma; that&&num;8217&semi;s what makes concerts so special — getting to hold onto a certain feeling long after the concert is over&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;media-16" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-media-16" style&equals;"width&colon; I couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear&period; I spent the rest of my night&comma; and the days following&comma; with their latest album on repeat&period; <em>The Head and the Heart <&sol;em>was already one of my all-time favorite bands&comma;
