<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">For those who are engaged with fashion, Law Roach has become a household name. The stylist is known for his work with talent such as Céline Dion, Anya Taylor-Joy, and, more publicly, Zendaya. The pair began working together when Zendaya was a teenager, during her Disney Channel days and the beginning of her rise to stardom. Zendaya has been in the spotlight since starring on Disney shows such as Shake it Up and K.C. Undercover. Roach became her stylist in 2011, when Zendaya was fourteen years old, for the premiere of </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, </span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">marking the beginning of their stylist/client relationship and friendship.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You may have heard the iconic story behind her journey with the Christian Louboutin &#8220;So Kate&#8221; pumps that she’s worn to many a red carpet, press tour, and interview. The &#8220;So Kate&#8221; is known for its beautiful silhouette and its extreme discomfort. Roach detailed his dedication to training the young Zendaya to become comfortable in the infamously painful shoe. He would have her wear them for long days, gradually getting her used to them. The shoe has now been solidified as a staple of her overall brand, proving the importance of a dedicated stylist. Now, upon seeing the &#8220;So Kate&#8221; on the street or through a store window, many will be reminded of Zendaya and the iconic looks worn with them, put together by none other than Law Roach. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Early in Zendaya’s career, brands expressed reluctance to dress her due to her being a relatively unknown actress: Chanel, Gucci, and Dior, to name a few. Understandably, these brands will not be allowed to dress the star in the future, as Roach has explicitly stated that a no from a brand is a no forever. Now, the star is frequently dressed by powerhouses such as Bulgari, Alaïa, Schiaparelli, and Mugler, brands that I believe resonate more with a contemporary audience. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The dynamic duo’s styling journey has been long-watched by fashion lovers, and their close relationship is evident in how they have helped each other grow in their respective careers. With the help of Law Roach’s styling, Zendaya has been established as a true fashion icon, and with Zendaya’s acting expertise and success, Roach has become one of the most well-known modern stylists. Zendaya’s engagement to Tom Holland (though not officially announced by the couple themselves) has left fans and fashionistas alike wondering what she will wear, how she will wear it, and what magic Law Roach will work next. </span></p>
