September ;may ;mark the start of fall, but in the fashion world, it’s all about Spring 2020 style, with Fashion Weeks taking place around the globe. Though the endless shows are undoubtedly the most important part of the month — and it’s easy to spend ;hours streaming them and going through the looks — half the fun of following along ;from afar ;by ;scouring social media. This is the best way ;to check out the ;high fashion street style looks Fashion Week attendees put together — and dreaming of one day attending the shows and creating ensembles too. ;While making the trek down McAllister to class isn’t exactly the same thing as sitting ;front row, ;get inspired by, and live vicariously through, these influencers. ;

No surprises, but Danielle Bernstein of ;@weworewhat ;nailed New York Fashion Week style. She wore ;everything from an orange silky ;Jonothan ;Simkhai ;midi dress with chunky black Prada boots, to traffic cone orange pants from ;Farfetch ;paired with a structured ;Jaquemus ;sky blue top, to a black and white Chanel dress with a vintage lime green quilted Chanel bag (via luxury vintage shop What Goes Around Comes Around). Between all her looks, one thing was apparent: Danielle Bernstein isn’t afraid to rock contrasting pieces, and it makes for some of the coolest outfits. Take a cue from her and pair black Docs or chunky sneakers with a super feminine skirt or dress. ;Don’t be afraid to mix eye catching, nearly clashing colors! ;

German blogger and model Caroline ;Daur ;had a busy Fashion ;Month, jetting between New York, Paris, and Milan for shows including Tommy Hilfiger, Fendi, Versace, Gucci, and more — and even designing a shirt in honor of Karl Lagerfeld as part of ;A Tribute to Karl: The White Shirt Project. ;She’s worn literally every kind of look including a feathery cocktail mini by The ;Attico, a super chic white monochrome ;look ;topped with an overcoat, and the coolest brown and black zebra print boots paired with a robin’s egg blue Gucci set. Some of my favorites ;were her bold, ;printed from head to toe looks, including a Paco ;Rabanne ;asymmetrical cheetah dress and a plaid Gucci ;two piece ;suit. Get inspired by her eye-catching looks and swap out your solid midi dresses or ;two piece ;sets for some with funky patterns. ;

Vanessa Hong ;(@thehautepursuit) ;

Despite a jam-packed month — in addition to attending numerous shows including Loewe, Paco ;Rabanne, and 3.1 Phillip Lim, she also walked in Kade Spade’s show and somehow squeezed in a trip to Shanghai between New York and Paris Fashion Week. All ;of podcaster and blogger Vanessa Hong’s ensembles (including an amazing Prabal Gurung skirt covered with neon orange sequins) were spot on. Some of her most memorable looks ;were a striking multi-tiered, turtleneck ;underneath an ;off the shoulder dress topped with a black leather belt by Loewe. Additionally, she sported a ;Paco ;Rabanne ;cutout metal, chandelier-esque ;dress worn over a white turtleneck dress. While she took layering to the extreme, and it’s still boiling hot in New Orleans, go for an easy version of her look by layering a midi or mini dress with a t-shirt. ;

Charlotte Groeneveld ;(@thefashionguitar) ;

In addition to keeping her followers up to date with all things Fashion Week by posting videos of the many shows she attended — including Valentino, Marc Jacobs, ;Proenza ;Schouler, Carolina Herrera, and Oscar de la ;Renta —on her Instagram, New York City based Charlotte Groeneveld wore a wide range of looks ;throughout Fashion Week. This ;includes ;a boxy Chloe button up ;shirt ;worn over a tulle maxi skirt, a black quilted Gucci skirt paired with a red plaid strapless top and black bucket hat, and a Marc Jacobs ;babydoll ;style dress with massive sleeves. My favorite part about her ;outfits was their playful proportions and oversized silhouettes. While wearing huge layers and puffy skirts to class may not be the most practical, look for subtle ways to incorporate fun shapes into your wardrobe — go for a pair of wide leg jeans, or a blouse with oversized sleeves. ; ;

Copenhagen based ;blogger ;Hanna ;Stefannsson ;brought her take on Scandinavian style to both Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks this year; she sported looks with clean lines and bright color palettes by European labels including Rowen Rose and ;Rokh, and fashion houses like Balenciaga and YSL, mixed in with affordable pieces from H&;M and Uniqlo. Some of her most striking Fashion Week fits included an oversized pink floral Balenciaga coat paired with a bright orange Mulberry handbag and red pointy-toed boots; and a ;drapey, ruby ;red Balenciaga dress featuring ;a split and black slacks, accessorized with lime green square-toed ;Wandler ;boots and a forest green structured purse. Emulate her style and brighten up your wardrobe with shoes and bags in fun jewel tones! They’ll make the simplest outfits (think white t-shirt and jeans) more exciting. ;
