<p>It was only a few months ago that the most sought-after shoe was the Stan Smith. I bought more than one pair, and I must have convinced a fair share of my friends to purchase them as well. They have since been replaced by the Old Skool Vans, but if you’re anything like me, you probably don’t want to wear the <em>exact same </em>pair of shoes as everyone else. Below, I have compiled a list of the five best alternatives, all seventy dollars and under, to the original Old Skool Vans. Up your style for the new year with these selections.</p>
