Throughout the show, Spencer is right alongside Carly, Sam, and Freddie in their various shenanigans, making each of the predicaments even crazier and more hilarious. Although iCarly is one of the best shows to ever be on Nickelodeon, it is apparent that Spencer carries the show and makes it memorable and culturally relevant to this day. ;</p>

<p>Spencer is played by Jerry Trainor, who is also known for his role as Crazy Steve in Drake and Josh. In both shows, Trainor is hilarious, making both the shows genuinely funny and entertaining to watch. Thankfully, Trainor is reprising his role as Spencer Shay in the reboot of iCarly, which will be available on Paramount+. ;</p>



<p>Overall, Spencer Shay is arguably one of the best characters from any early 2000s kid show, and definitely one of the most iconic. Spencer’s childlike nature and charming weirdness make him the perfect television older brother, and he’s incredibly beloved by the watchers of iCarly. All in all, the sculpture-making, crazy-sock-wearing, spaghetti taco connoisseur is a television legend if there ever was one.</p>
