<p><strong><em>Swamp Tours</em></strong></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Explore some of New Orleans’ greatest sights while enjoying a mellow ride through the swamps. You will travel beside beautiful cypress and oak trees, discovering all kinds of different species that live in the swamp. Your tour guide will probably feed the alligator marshmallows and tell you all different kinds of stories about alligators he has encountered.</span></p>

<p><strong><em>The Virgin Hotel Rooftop</em></strong></p>

<p><em><strong>Explore the French Quarter</strong></em></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">One of my favorite things to do on a warm day is head down to the French Quarter. Play tourist for the day: explore little shops, visit museums (the Ogden Southern Art Museum and WW2 museum are right next to each other), eat beignets at Cafe Du Monde, and enjoy the lively streets of New Orleans.</span></p>
<p><em><strong>Jazz Fest</strong></em></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In our city, spring = Jazz Fest! Embrace New Orleans’ history of music by celebrating at the many concerts offered. Above is a list of some of the musicians coming to New Orleans. Jazz Fest is the perfect place to have a great time with your friends.</span></p>
<p><em><strong>Crawfest</strong></em></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Unfortunately for the many crawfish that are about to be eaten, Crawfest is another festival commonly enjoyed by Tulane students. Not only is it largely celebrated by the New Orleans community, Crawfest is the biggest student-run festival in the </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">country</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">. Luckily for Tulane students, we don’t even have to leave campus! Go to the quad outside the LBC and enjoy nationally recognized seafood. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">These activities will make the New Orleans’ heat not only bearable, but enjoyable! Take a break from your studies during the weekends and look into any of these experiences to ensure an amazing day.</span></p>
